Saturday May 27th is Beacon Hill Farm Markets’ first Fresh Chicken Day for 2023. Our farm raises healthy, happy chickens in a free range manner. Our birds enjoy their days outside on the long grass or engaging in dust baths all while eating a non-GMO diet of mixed grains. Fresh Chicken Days occur three times each season, it’s a great way to stock your freezers with delicious, whole farm fresh chicken. If you’re looking for pieced birds, please reach out to pre-order our convenient cut-up packs. These are a great way to enjoy 2 of our birds but in convenient portions of boneless, skinless breasts, legs, thighs, wings and backs for stocks and soups.
Friends of Beacon Hill Farm Market, we are opening our doors for our 9th season on May 20, 2023. We have a market full of new items to not only make your home run more efficiently, but to satisfy taste buds and spark creativity with your menus! Our second fresh chicken day is scheduled for Saturday July 10th from 9:00 am to noon. Be sure to pop out to pick up one of our famous free range, farm fresh, non GMO chickens for the BBQ, smoker or oven roasting.

Beacon Hill Farm Market has another new and exciting product for your stock making needs. Chicken stock bags contain the back bones, breast bones, leg bones, thigh bones and wings from 2 of our free range, non GMO chickens. If you’re looking to make a flavourful chicken stock to use as the base for soups, sauces or fantastic grains this is a great starting point.
A new option for our customers is the availability of Beacon Hill Farm Market Ground Chicken. This product comes in flat pack 1 pound packages that are quick and easy to defrost and use in your favourite recipes. A healthier alternative to ground beef and versatile enough to substitute in a myriad of recipes; check out our Ground Orange Chicken recipe on the recipe section of our website.

The look of Beacon Hill Farm Market has certainly changed due to Covid. Gone (for now) is the in-store browsing and shopping of our quality meats, eggs, baking and produce. However, these items are still available on a different platform, our online ordering system.
Currently our online ordering is only available on Wednesdays beginning at midnight until Thursdays at 6:00 pm, with pick up on Fridays.
Simply click the Online Ordering tab at the top of our webpage to be redirected to our catalogue. Fill out the required fields; Name, Email, Telephone and choose your time slot for pick up. Next, pick your quantities of lovely items from the listings shown. These lists will change and grow as our seasons progress. Finally, if you have any questions or concerns you can fill out the message box, then click submit. It’s really that easy!
The following day, in your chosen time slot, we look forward to greeting you while you stay in your vehicle. Pop your trunk or allow us to open a door, our carryout people will place your order in your vehicle while our cashier will present you with Point of Sale machine from a safe distance. We love “tap” cards but will gladly provide you with gloves to use while keying in your pertinent information. We also still accept cash.

Due to safe social distancing practices and accumulated concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic, Beacon Hill Farm Market is pleased to announce we will be offering online shopping to our customers!
We are in the process of setting up an easy to use online system where you can order our high quality fresh eggs, produce, baking and flowers as well as our amazing frozen beef, pork and poultry for curb side pick up.

Although the market is closed, our laying hens continue to produce delicious, free range, non-GMO eggs. These are available to you on a self serve basis out of our EGG refrigerator located in the shop. The doors are open from 9am to 6pm Monday - Saturday. Please no Sunday sales.
